In the fastener manufacturing industry, especially for long screws, bolts, combination screws and various non-standard screws with a high length-to-diameter ratio, slight bends and head tilts often occur after straightening. Traditional methods rely mainly on visual inspection or simple tools, which involve high labor intensity, low efficiency, and are prone to missed defects and misjudgments due to visual fatigue. This directly affects product quality stability and customer satisfaction, creating a bottleneck for production capacity and expansion into high-end markets.
The newly introduced optical sorting machine integrates a high-resolution imaging system, intelligent image processing algorithms, and a high-speed precision sorting mechanism, providing an automated solution for comprehensive quality inspection of long screws. After implementation, sorting accuracy has increased to over 99.9%, significantly reducing the risk of defective products entering the market and improving product consistency and reliability. Introducing this optical sorting machine not only addresses a specific pain point but also represents an important step in Jinsixi’s push toward intelligent and digital transformation of its production system.
